- Dr. Leon Ittiachen was invited as a Guest speaker at the Department of Chemical Engineering, MIT, Manipal for the Class of 1994 Alumni Speaker Series. He delivered lectures on the topics "Cellulosic Ethanol for Fuel Blending" and "Translational Research" on 12 May 2023.
- Dr. Leon Ittiachen delivered a lecture on ‘Translational Research’ to B.Tech Biotechnology students studying Bio Business and Social Entrepreneurship courses at Vellore Institure of Technology, Vellore on 17 February 2023.
- Dr. Dhanya Gangadharan received a project grant of Rs.2,00,000/- for the project "Can D Sen" from KSUM in Idea Grant 2023.
2021-22
- Dr. Ambili Mechoor, Prof & HoD received a grant of Rs.3.22 lakhs for the project titled ‘Spirulina: A promise for self-employment and health’ from KSCSTE under BIRD scheme during June 2022.
- Dr. Ambili Mechoor, delivered a plenary lecture during Sr. Dr. Rani George Endowment National Seminar on IPR and Sustainable Environment on 09 March 2022.
- Dr. Leon Ittiachen received domain certification in Patents and Intellectual Property Rights during October 2021 and Faculty Domain-Advanced in April 2022.
- Ms. Sumi Maria Babu and Ms. Sangeetha Gopal, two research scholars under the guidance of Dr. Leon Ittiachen received a grant of Rs.8,00,000/- under YIP Scheme of KSUM.
- Dr. Leon Ittiachen conducted a workshop on RINK – Research Translation and Commercialization Bootcamp on RESEARCH INNOVATION NETWORK KERALA- RESEARCH TRANSLATION AND COMMERCIALISATION on 08 April 2022 at Sahrdaya College of Engineering and Technology.

- PhD in Biochemistry was awarded to Dr. P. Praveena on 03 Mar 2021 from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore for her thesis entitled “Evaluation of antineoplastic and antifertility activity of hydro-ethanolic extract of unripe fruit of Carica papaya L”.

- Dr. Uma Krishnakumar delivered an invited talk during the online FDP on Role of Chemical Engineering in Sustainable Process Development on 10 June 2020 organized by Department of Chemical Engineering, Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering, Sriperumbudur, Tamilnadu.

- Dr.Ambili Mechoor, delivered a lecture on ‘Biopharmaceuticals – Inroads and Aspirations’ at Recent Biochemical approaches in Therapeutics (RBAT- 2019) during 23-25 Jan 2019 at the Department of Biochemistry, University of Kerala, Kariavattom, Thiruvananthapuram.
- PhD in Bioinformatics was awarded to Dr.Amitha Joy on 19 Nov 2018 from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore for her thesis titled “Analysis of phytic acid and its derivatives against cancer protein targets”.
