Apply knowledge of mathematics through differential equations, calculus-based physics, chemistry, and at least one additional area of science
Apply knowledge of four technical areas appropriate to civil engineering, including but not limited to structural, geotechnical, transportation, geoinformatics, environmental, and water resources engineering
Design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs within realistic constraints such as economic, environmental, social, political, ethical, health and safety, manufacturability, and sustainability
Familiarise with various facets of construction and its planning like project scheduling, resource and material management, understand the impact of engineering solutions in a global, economic, environmental, and societal contexts
